P1 love learning phonics. Each week, we learn a new sound through story, rhyme and song. Each sound has a special action that we practise at home with Mummies and Daddies. We also complete a weekly carousel all about our new sound. During this carousel, we have fun at four activity stations. The activities can include writing the letter in shaving foam, finding the letter in the sand tray, writing the letter on chalk or whiteboards d and using tweezers and Pom poms to trace the letter.... and many more exciting activities!
