P2 have really been enjoying our baking sessions on a Wednesday afternoon. So far, we have made delicious cookies and yummy jammy biscuits. We have used different methods such as creaming the butter and sugar with the hand mixer and rubbing in the butter and flour to make a bread crumb consistency. The children have also developed key cooking skills such as measuring correctly and cracking eggs. Even better, they have been practising their cleaning skills like wiping down the table and washing up our equipment. Well done P2 superstars!
